Everything goes into the printer fine, but when I try and print. I get an error message and the red light stays on. Never did print a single line, lots of toner in bag when I opened the box. Also like another reviewer stated there was a picture about removing tape from the green drum, it didn't have the tape. I replaced it with used Samsung cartridge and that printed fine although it is almost out of toner. So it isn't the printer. Its the toner. Going to try and get a refund. Btw I have the ml 2010 and, I noticed some differences between the Samsung model and this one.

I purchased this product in Sept, 2007. I had trouble from the start with the keyboard, and it's long ago enough now that I kind of forget what the problem was, but I know the software did not mesh with my laptop (Dell Inspiron E1405). If I had the software installed and used Fn F8 to go from laptop screen to external monitor, it created the effect of constantly depressing the Ctrl button, and I would have to uninstall the software to stop this. I talked to people from microsoft and they had no solution. So I have not had the software installed since then. That means that all those buttons up top are useless. Might as well have gone with a cheaper set.



Also, the range seemed ok at first, but for the last year or so at least, the range has been roughly one foot. If my mouse is further than that from the receiver, it's useless (this is with fresh batteries). Same with my keyboard (which may have a range of less than a foot!). This makes it awkward to set up and doesn't let me position myself as I would like. It may be that there's interference from other objects, but I don't think so. When I move the receiver farther from my computer & monitor, but only about 14" from my keyboard, the keyboard won't work. That just seems pathetic to me.



I'd recommend getting something other than this product. It's not worth the price.

4 star rating after 150+ reviews made me think this must be a really good product. But I find it otherwise. It's not that bad too, but I'm a developer and I didn't realize how much of a headache certain features, of keyboard specially, can be. I bought this to work on my desktop (the company provided kybd & mouse are really bad).

Good: Soft keys, a good responsive mouse.

Some irritating things:

a.) Mouse battery power -- the battery got exhausted within 2 months of use. And when that happens the S/W doesn't give you an appropriate warning. The message shown is: "Some mouse settings might not work until you connect a Microsoft mouse to a USB port on your computer or set up a Microsoft mouse that uses Bluetooth technology." This message set my heart beating at a higher pace thinking that a 2 month old mouse is dead. It finally turned out that the battery power was over.

b.) SQL Server 2005/ Windows crash: With the mouse driver installed I started experiencing the "blue death" screen. It took me quite a good amount of investigation to find out that it happens only when I'm working on SQL Server 2005. And then I found out that it's because of the mouse driver (iPoint.exe). After I removed iPoint.exe I haven't faced a crash. But that takes away all the good touted features of the mouse (zoom etc.).

c.) F-Lock: I had read of this thing over here but didn't realize how bad it would be for me till I used it. I'm a developer and hence I work with Function keys most of the time. And to be surprised with an "Open File" dialog is not a good thing when you are trying to debug. Also, with the F-lock in ON position (so that the function keys work) you can't take a screenshot. This kills me when I'm debugging. A really bad feature and I am yet to figure out if there's a way to tweak the registry to turn the F-lock permanently ON (but the print screen will still be a worrying point for me).

d.)Key acceleration & mouse signal: I've observed that randomly the keyboard would become hypersensitive and a warning signal shows up showing that it has lost the strength. And all the while the kybd & mouse is no farther than 6-7 inches from the receiver (no objects in between). This gets irritating when you suddenly see that "new" has a bit too many "wwwww"s.



From a software developer perspective I highly discourage anybody from buying it.

I got this set from my wife as a present, and it replaced an old MS Natural Elite (one of two) that I had been using for a few years.



Initially it seemed to work great but then I started to have problems with the mouse's left button. It started to require a hard push rather than a touch to activate, finally stopped working all together (the button).



Then the keyboard started to activate the find function in Firefox and inputted random letters WITHOUT my input :( This was a major annoyance when doing work or when typing!



I sent it to my local computer shop to have service, and they reported that the printed circuit was not repairable. So I tossed it, and pulled the old Elite back out of storage and my old wireless Logitech mouse, and for the last 6 months have not had any such problems with them.



Needless to say I am very disappointed with the quality. However, that did not stop me from being getting another keyboard recently...a MS 4000, wired keyboard.

I've been using this card for about 4 months with no problems. It's been fast enough for my Canon Powershot s5 IS ... both for video's & continuous shooting. Since it is only SD NOT SDHC it works with all my older card readers.



For the money this was a great buy since I didn't need the latest & greatest. I prefer to use several smaller capacity cards & not to put all my pictures on 1 card just in case something happens to it.



If you shoot a lot of video or RAW files you may be better off with a higher capacity card. If not this a good card at a reasonable price.

This little device is a true winner in my book! I have played with several microphones with this iPod Touch and had rather poor results. The ultimate waste of time & money was no doubt the SwitchEasy ThumbTack iPod Microphone. This thing sucked! It produced all kinds of strange audio artifacts (clicks, pops and buzzes). Don't waste your time on it! Sure, the company will refund my $12.95, if I want to take the time and expense of sending it back.. I guess this is how they sell this thing. Who is going to the trouble to do that for $12.95.

On the other hand, the Macally unit shines. I pluged it into the iPod Touch 32 Gb 2nd generation and it was ready to go. Its audio recording level was very impressive, ever better than the mic on the Apple earphones.

I also found that by pluging either my Sony ECM-MS907 or ECM-MS957 stereo microphone into the Macally mic, I can record in full stereo. Apparently the necessary electronics for signal conversion is in the Macally, since I had tried and tried to use these Sony mics alone to no avail. You can also sync and charge the iPod Touch directly through the supplied mini USB/USB cable.

This unit feels very solid and well built although it is Chinese made (can you imagine that?), has a well written instruction sheet (that doesn't read like it was translated from Swahili), has a registration website for it, and even a one year warranty! Needless to say, I'm impressed!

This recorder works like a charm with my 120GB Classic 6th gen, as well as my son's 4th Gen iPod Nano. (Although it does NOT list these as compatible; obviously, the manual and description have not been updated.) On the nano, it actually allows you to create chapters as you record. Extremely simple to use. I've recorded with voice, as well as transferred some history lectures from cassette to iTunes with no hassle. The sound level isn't huge, but I can hear perfectly well holding the Touch to my head like it is a phone and the folk I call hear me very clearly. Be careful with the cheap non-Sony replacement battery.



I purchased one of these "NP-FM50" replacements, and the battery that I received was a 7.4v, which does not work in my DSC-F707 camera that uses the Sony NP-FM50 battery.



The real Sony NP-FM50 battery is a 7.2v "info lithium", which indicates that it has a built in processor to inform the camera how much battery life exists.



I guess that explains why the cheap re-pop batteries are around $10, and the actual Sony battery is over $40.

I've had a MacAlly ICEKEY for at least three years in a set up with an external monitor for my MacBookPro (my primary work computer). Others have mentioned a solution to the gaining full functionality for some of the keys at the top, so I won't go into that. I will say that with more than 3 years of heavy use, the keyboard works as well today as when I first purchased it (which is excellent, btw). I like the tactile feel of the keys as they are pressed. One reviewer says it feels flimsy. Maybe if you are using it as a baseball bat, but not as a keyboard. Now that I've purchased an external monitor for use at home, I'm purchasing another ICEKEY for that set up also. Now if only MacAlly would reintroduce the QBALL! Luckily I purchased a two extra at a great price when they were closing them out.

I have a "20 Intel Core Duo (white) iMac, bought in '06. I had used Bootcamp with older Apple keyboards (Bluetooth and wired), and everything worked just fine.



About a year ago I uninstalled Bootcamp to free up space. I reinstalled it a few weeks ago, using the new Apple Keyboard. To my dismay, I could not use the standard key command of holding down [Option] while booting up to select my boot drive. It turns out this is a documented flaw wherein power isn't sent to the Keyboard until after the crucial moment in bootup.



I purchased this Macally keyboard specifically to work with Bootcamp on my Mac, and it performs beautifully. I'm happy to say the feel of the keys is even better than that of the Apple Keyboard.

My Macbook recognized the keyboard, so I didn't install the driver from the CD. Then I tried to adjust the volume - no dice. Inserted the CD and installed the driver. *Still* no dice! Turns out, lamely enough, that the CD that ships with the keyboard doesn't actually contain the driver needed to make the keyboard work! Stupid. So if you're frustrated, Google "macally icekey" and install the driver. Then you'll be golden. But, jeez, Macally, why you wasting resources and shipping coasters with your product?
